Day 358
Thursday, August 30, 2007
Summer is starting to pack up, take the tents down and consider the '08 tour. I wanted to go to Kennywood (check!) and Cedar Point (no check!) before the summer ended. Fat chance on the latter.
But one thing I have yet to do--lay out at night and watch the stars. There's still time.

You only sort of missed the boat with the stars - had you done that in early August, you would have caught the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. The next meteor shower peaks in late October. But you can still catch nice summer stars! Go find some dark flat farmland somewhere to sit in and stargaze.
I've been following the stuff you and your friends have been starting around BF (mostly I've just been facebook-stalking you), like the bike syndicate and whatnot, and I think it's all pretty cool. BF could use some livening up. A touch of urban/community renewal would be great for the place. Cheers to you guys.
Anyways, hope life is treating you well. Happy Labor Day! Enjoy the long weekend :-)
