To celebrate my "half of the way there" post on the Year o'Blog, Marvel Comics decided to kill off my favorite superhero.

The way they did it shows that they've run out of ideas anyway. Very anti-climatic. Should have had the commie leader pull a Nero redivivus and reappear to capture/torture/brainwash and then a struggle in which both die or something. Not something like he had a bad burger and died of E-coli. Lame.

Yeah, sorry about the death of Captain America. In all honesty, I don't really know much about him. He was one of the characters that wasn't popular when I was in middle school. I believe his "simplicity" was not well received in the mid-90s. But condolences to you and your family. I just hope they don't kill Spider-man; however, there is a rumor that after the third one comes out, that's it - no more Spidey. Sam Raimi wants to continue the series, but I guess Tobey and Kirsten feel the three movies do enough justice for the superhero. See ya in a few.
